Honoring Those Who Served — GCPS Partners with Olympia High School Veterans Club
On Thursday, November 13, Grand Central Pizza Station proudly partnered with the Olympia High School Veterans Club for a powerful Spirit Night with one shared goal: bringing the community together to support the Alwyn C. Cashe State Veterans Nursing Home.
The response from our community was nothing short of incredible.
GCPS After Dark: A Spirit Night With a Vibe
To make the night extra special, we transformed the shop into GCPS After Dark. The lights were cut, party music filled the room, and disco balls set the tone—creating an energetic, welcoming atmosphere for students, faculty, families, and customers who came out to support the cause.
The dining room was packed and proudly dressed in red, white, and blue. U.S. flags lined the space, and guests were welcomed with USA-themed silicone wristbands as a small thank-you for showing their support—something to take home and remember the night by.
Community, Cause & Connection
This event was about more than pizza. It was about community, service, and giving back. Together with Olympia High School, GCPS donated 10% of all net sales for the entire day directly to the Alwyn C. Cashe State Veterans Nursing Home—helping support the men and women who have given so much in service to our country.
Seeing students actively involved, families showing up in force, and customers rallying behind our local veterans was incredibly meaningful. The energy in the room reflected exactly what this partnership stands for: unity, gratitude, and action.
A Night to Be Proud Of
From the packed dining room to the smiling faces, music, and shared purpose, it truly was a great night had by all. We’re honored to partner with the Olympia High School Veterans Club and grateful to everyone who came out to support this important cause.
This is why we do what we do—serving great pizza while serving our community right alongside it. 🇺🇸🍕
